Wolf FM container studio

WOLF FM was created as a temporary radio station for Lunga Art Festival 2013. Bureau Detours created a mini-scene and urban setting on a lot by the harbour in Seydisfjördur, Iceland. Shipping container was brought to the place, where it unpacked itself and we build additional wooden construction. From here we broadcast live radio including DJ sets and improvised jam sessions. A mobile music unit, Musicvagon, was built for the purpose and it travelled around the festival area to the different workshops at the festival. Since then WOLF FM has taken on a life of its own, participating in events such as Århus Lydfestival (Aarhus Sound Festival) and LAK – Festival of Nordic Sound Art.
